In this edition few chapters are revised like in chapter 1, ICD?11 are incorporated, in chapter 5, oral questions on  immunization  and  vaccine  related  issues  are  added,  communicable  and  non?communicable  diseases, reproductive  and  child  health,  demography  and  family  planning  chapters  are  fully  revised.  In  chapter  6, overview  of  Covid?19 and available vaccines are  described in  brief. In  chapter  15, guidelines  for  handling, treatment  and  disposal  of  waste  generated  from  Covid?19  patients  are  also  incorporated.  In  chapter  21, Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme (IDSP) is revised. Apart from that in chapter 22, MCQs (231) are picked up from different universities questions. Few true?false and fill in the blanks questions are also provided in chapters 23 and 24 that will help both UG and PG students. This book is written as per new MCI curriculum 2019 which is based on competency.
